An Elysium advisor contacts you within 24 hours of your request. The consultation is completely free, with no commitment and no sales pressure. During this conversation, your advisor answers all your questions, explains the options available in your area and helps you define your priorities. You can approach the subject as openly or as partially as you wish — there is no set agenda. Most of our clients describe this first conversation as reassuring and liberating. Together, you and your advisor choose the services, ceremony and terms that precisely match your wishes and budget. Every plan is unique — there is no one-size-fits-all package at Elysium. You decide: the type of disposition (burial, cremation, ecological), the funeral services included, the presence or absence of a ceremony, music, readings, flowers, obituary. You can also indicate your preferences regarding organ donation, clothing and who should be informed. Your complete plan is written out and given to you for review. You can request changes before signing.

Your contract is officially registered with a Quebec-licensed funeral partner. This is the step where your arrangement becomes legally binding and officially protected. Funds paid under a pre-arrangement contract are placed in a regulated trust fund — separate from the funeral home's assets. If anything were to happen to that partner, your funds and your wishes are protected by law. A copy of your contract is provided to you. You can share a copy with your loved ones, your notary or your family doctor. It is done. You sleep better.
